Rocker Switche
Rocker Switches, also known as rocker or toggle Switches, are a type of switch widely used in electronic devices and various electrical systems. Below is a detailed introduction to Rocker Switches:

I. Basic Structure
Rocker Switches typically consist of a faceplate, transition pieces, springs, conductive mechanisms, and a backseat. The faceplate features multiple mounting brackets and slots for fixing and connecting other components. The transition pieces, including latch positions and pillars, cooperate with the slots and arcuate bosses on the mounting brackets to achieve fixing and limiting functions. The springs and conductive mechanisms are responsible for the conductivity and switching functions of the switch.
II. Types and Characteristics
Types:
Miniature Type: Small in size, suitable for electronic devices with limited space.
Sub-miniature Type: Even smaller than miniature switches, suitable for more compact design requirements.
Illuminated Type: Equipped with indicator lights to display the switch status.
SMT Type (SuRFace Mount Technology): Suitable for surface mount technology, facilitating automated production.
Sealed Type: Featuring waterproof and dustproof properties, suitable for harsh environments.
Characteristics:
Simple structure and easy operation.
High reliability and long service life.
Large contact capacity, suitable for high-power circuits.
A variety of types to choose from, meeting the needs of different application scenarios.
III. Application Fields
Rocker Switches are widely used in various electronic devices, such as household appliances, industrial equipment, automotive electrical systems, communication devices, etc. Their reliability and durability make them an indispensable type of switch in these fields.
IV. Wiring and Precautions
Wiring Methods:
Single-Pole Switch: With only one power interface and one load interface, connect the power line and load line to the two wiring terminals of the switch respectively.
Double-Pole Switch: With two power interfaces and two load interfaces, both power lines and load lines need to be connected to the switch.
Precautions:
Before wiring, the electronic device must be disconnected from power to avoid electric shock or other accidents.
Wiring must be carried out according to the wiring diagram in the instruction manual to ensure correct wiring.
Ensure that the voltage and current of the power supply and load comply with the rated voltage and current requirements of the switch, as failure to do so may result in switch burnout or equipment damage.
The wiring terminals must be securely tightened to avoid device failure due to poor contact or short circuits.
