Kingboard Chemical Holdings Limited invested USD 120 million to build a new PCB factory in Vietnam

On June 4th, the People's Committee of Bắc Ninh Province, Vietnam, approved and issued the investment registration certifICate for Kingboard Chemical Holdings Limited's Bắc Ninh project. The project is located in Gia Bình II Industrial Park, Gia Bình District, Bắc Ninh Province. On June 20th, LEGEND BRIGHT ENTERPRISE (HONG KONG) LIMITED, a subsidiary of Kingboard Chemical Holdings Limited headquartered in Hong Kong, established Yangxuan Electronics (Vietnam) Co., Ltd., completing the layout of PCB through-hole and HDI products in Vietnam.

It is understood that Yangxuan Electronics (Vietnam) Co., Ltd. mainly produces printed Circuit Boards. The first phase of the project is expected to be completed by the end of 2025 with a capacity of 600,000 square feet per month, and the second phase is expected to reach a capacity of 1 million square feet per month. The total project area is 44,468㎡, with a factory building area of 85,182㎡, and a total investment of USD 120 million.

According to the information, Kingboard Chemical Holdings Limited is the world's largest producer of copper-clad laminates and the largest printed circuit board manufacturer in China, as well as one of the major suppliers of chemical products in China. The company currently has about 50,000 employees and an annual turnover of over HKD 30 billion. It has been recognized as one of the top 2,000 listed companies in the world by Forbes magazine for two consecutive years and named as one of the top 100 technology companies by Bloomberg Businessweek in 2010.
